Goncalves; Karen Hanrahan; Jack Ringland; Barbara Rozul, Treasurer/Committee

Staff Present: Camille Pansa, Executive Director; Lisel Rockwood, Program Assistant.
1.
Introductions: New volunteer, Madeline Colon, was welcomed. All introduced themselves
and gave a brief biographical background.
2.
Approval of minutes for October 28, 2009: A
motion was made by Rui Goncalves and
seconded by Karen Hanrahan to accept the minutes as written. Vote passed
unanimously.
3.
Finance Committee meeting day and time and date for December
meeting: Camille Pansa proposed that the finance committee
not meet in the month of December because the final figures would not be ready
until January and actual figures for this fiscal year will be limited. Meeting dates
will change in 2010 from the forth Wednesday of the month to third Friday of
the month. The next committee meeting will be Friday, January 15 if the auditor
is available. If not, the committee will meet on the original date of Wednesday,
January 27.

Quarterly meeting Friday, December 11/approve 704
Report: The meeting will be Friday,
December 11th. The main purpose of the meeting is to approve the 704
Report.
5.
Initiatives for FY 2010: Camille Pansa reviewed
the Council’s initiatives and stated that plans were being made for a
celebration of the 20th anniversary of the passage of the American
with Disabilities Act.
6.
Budget for new State Plan 2011-13: Camille will meet with the auditor to discuss
reasonable increases for the upcoming budget.
7.
Online course “Smooth as SILC”: Karen Hanrahan reported she has found the class to be
very interesting and worthwhile.
8. Audit for
FY 2009: in progress. A clean audit
is expected.
9.
Continue 2010 budget projection: All
projected expenditures for each line item were reviewed and some adjustments
made.
10. New
