New Budget
2011-13: The proposed budget was reviewed line by line and a consensus was
reached. Members agreed on the importance of the SILC autonomy and the need for
continued funding to support the required functions of the SILC. Liz Graves,
Rick Costa, and Mary Wambach will attend the next budget meeting with ORS on
February 12th.

State Plan
11-13/RISILC goals and Objectives: The SPIL Development
Guide written by ILRU and RSA was reviewed. A sub-committee will meet on
February 10th to discuss and write SILC goals and objectives.
3.
Minutes of December 2, 2009 and January 6, 2010: A motion was made by Heidi Showstead and seconded by Barbara Rozul to accept the
minutes as written. Vote passed
unanimously.
4.
Review March 2010 calendar: attached.
5.
ILRU webcast/RISILC’s
mentoring session: Camille Pansa stated
that she has agreed to be a presenter in a national ILRU training webinar regarding
RISILC’s
recruiting and orientation program. The webinar is on March 8th.
6.
Possible educational presentation for March quarterly: Liz Graves reported that the
assistant director of the mental health wellness center will present at the
March quarterly. She also made a suggestion that Kathy Samways be asked to
present on Americorp at the June quarterly.

report.

Executive Director Report: no additional report.
9.
Financial Report: 1st quarter figures previously
sent.
10.
Leadership Development and Advocacy Committee Report: previously sent.
11.
Old Business/new Business/Incoming Mail: A motion was made by Heidi Showstead and seconded by Liz Graves to renew the annual membership to ServeRI at a cost of $175. Vote
passed unanimously.
